A public information session on multiple, related transit planning initiatives takes place Thursday, June 25 at Riverdale Collegiate, 1094 Gerrard St. E. at Jones Avenue.
Hosted by the City of Toronto’s Planning Division, Metrolinx and the TTC, the meeting – one of eight across Toronto – runs from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
During the consultation, those in attendance will learn more about the GO Regional Express Rail, SmartTrack, the Scarborough Subway Extension and the Relief Line, a new subway line to link downtown with the Bloor-Danforth subway east of the Don River.
Another round of consultation will be held in September, including consultation with the City of Mississauga, Region of Peel, City of Markham and Region of York.
The city and the TTC will be presenting recommendations to the TTC board and city council on SmartTrack, the Scarborough Subway Extension and the Relief Line this fall.
Visit www.toronto.ca/transitTO for details about each of these transit initiatives.
